If you think beer is missing, you'd be mistaken.  I got one in my hand.  Waiting for the jerky to finish so I can have a piece.

BF,

Read my mind.  Is it a piece of jerky that you are referring to?

Mental note for next time making jerky.  Let it finish in the smoker and don't bring it in to finish in the oven.  The house smells to good doing it this way!

Why did I do this you might ask......well, I thought I could keep a closer eye on it so it didn't overcooked, but wow, I just want to eat it all now.

The finished product.  Good beer drinking food, right?  Had to include the pickled eggs I made a couple of weeks ago.

Saw that seasoning when I was at Bass Pro buying a new scope the other day.  Yep I need to do that.

I cut the jerky nuggets to 1" squares.

Yes, the jalepeno's did turn out great, so I'm told.  I have not had any yet, but I gave some to co-workers and they said they were great when they put them in some fresh salsa.  So, I'm taking their word for it.  I made them for chili and football season.  I have not made any chili yet since it's been 100 degrees here.
