... would like it here.
This is inside my garage at 6PM. And it is cloudy outside.

Marginally better above my workbench near an open door - and a fan.

Various remote thermometers report 91 on my deck (shaded for a few hours now), and 97 out front (large porch, lots of concrete).
No cold smoked cheese for you!
When I got in my car to drive home from work, it read 102F!
My WS reads 98.2 for the high today.
Hal sent me a pic from his Bus on the way home... 100° on the mark. My W/S has been shutting down during the day, so I don't know what the high was here. It's shaded from about 2PM on, so it runs a little cooler than other locations.
Yea, the bank thermometer (less then a mile from home) was reading 101F @ 4:50PM CST here in N. Al.
We get a break on Sunday... Then back to normal. (mid-80s)
That is just about a normal Temp in my Area for this time of Year.
Not for a week , the whole summer. Heat index 105 to 109 is the norm
with 90 pus humidity. I try to stay indoors. ;D
And I try to stay out of South Texas this time of year! :D
We're heading to a Cubs vs Cardinals ball game tomorrow night in STL. Should be about 99° when it starts. Who wants my ticket when I plan to get ejected from the ballpark? ;D
Been a very hot few weeks here in the Cincy area...

I think I caught a shady breeze or something --- I whipped out the phone to take that pic because the bus thermometer was reading 102... Dropped to 100 right when I snapped it..
No cold smoked cheese now, huh?
Got that around here also. And wait until the wife starts "the change" and wants the temp inside the house to be 58. Man, I've got condensation on everything - and it is my fault! for both the heat and the condensation!
Glad I'm out of the heat.
Watched the meteor shower last night and it was 48F.
Of course I'm 11000K ASL. ;D

Heck, that's jacket weather out here.
It would be more tolerable if it weren't for the 70% humidity..
That's one thing I'll admit, it is a dry heat out here, but I would think that a little breeze might be better with higher humidity than with no humidity. Can't be sure since I don't remember having to go through that.
This is definitely out of the ordinary for us... Even Chicago is seeing 100°+ heat indexes.
