I work for the coolest bank in the world. Tonight we are hosting a free rock and roll concert for the city. It's in the city's performing arts center. The bars in the place are open and free tonight. The group is named Tyn Tymes. They're a group out of the late 60's from Gadsden Alabama. They're my age now, late 50's and was one of those great college party bands during that era. Great cover band. 10 guys in the group with a horn section. If I don't hear "Mustang Sally" I will be greatly surprised and disappointed. :D When was the last time your Bank invited you to a free anything?
Our corporate logo is very simple, one word WOW! Named one of the top 15 best places to work by the Wall Street Journal.
BTW, if you haven't called your bank about refinancing your home mortgage you should. I've been in the business 38 years and never seen mortgage rates this low. Take advantage while you can.
So the group is from my neck of the woods but I'm little less then 10 years old enough to have really had the chance to have heard of them back then.
Have fun!
I think their doing a Tyn Tymes Reunion concert in Gadsden later this year. Check their website www.tyntymes.com There's a schedule.
Whoops sorry, the reunion concert was last weekend, my bad.
Paducah? Mention my name.
My bank gave me free advise....We are going to Wachovia money :D :D

It's from an old song (Mention My Name In Sheboygan) which I think started out as a square dance call but was eventually recorded by the Everly Brothers about 50 years ago.
Mention my name in Paducah
It's the greatest little town in the world
I know a gal there you'll simply adore
She was Miss Paducah back in 1904
So mention my name in Paducah
And if you ever get in a mess
Just mention my name, I said mention my name
But please don't give them my address
I made a couple of pics with my cell phone but aren't worthy of posting. It was a lot of fun.
Ka Honu, I mentioned your name twice. The first time some gal slapped my face and the second time they almost escorted me out of the building.

I see they've mellowed a bit. Time was when they'd have gutted you right on the street and hung the carcass out to dry.

Thanks to KyNola (
loaning money to starving artists), my home town is
quite sophisticated now...
An utterly egregious act
might be confronted by hiding the cheese tray from you... Or offering you the
wine in the box...
So, not that there's a shortage of massive towering oak trees, but.. human carcasses swinging in the breeze are
not so passé these days.. ;D
