Sorry mike, we are not big restuarant go'ers. And the one we most frequent (mcdonalds) trys to poison us so we don't even go there anymore. Montana's in langley is pretty good and The Cactus Club in Delta is pretty good also, especially the Bourbon Ribs. That is the best I can do for ya other than The Keg.

Hey Mike,
Vancouver has tones of great restaurant for all sorts of ethnic backgrounds.  My favorite restaurant of all is The Sandbar (seafood) on Granville Island, ask to sit on the upper patio.  For BBQ, try Memphins Blues.    For traditional East Indian, try Sitar  - Vij's offers an "Indian fusion" but comes with a hefty price tag.  Sambas has all you can eat Brazilian food that is great.  Chong Qing has great Chinese food.  There's a lot a great sushi places but my favorite is SushiYamma - try the Black Cod.
I hear Lumiere is really good ( i believe it's owned by rob finni) and expensive but I've never been.  I few other places I've never been to but have great reviews are Gotham Steak House, Cardero's and here's link to some other top rated places http://www.toprestaurants.com/van/Vancouvr.htm.
Remember, it's Vancouver so you expect decent to great food,  moderate and ridiculously expensive and service that genreally lacks.

Thanks Dan  we love seafood, so I am sure we will try The Sandbar.  We are close to Granville Island staying at the Fairmont downtown.
