Topped with Apple Butter Sauce.

Marinade Ingredients

Stir together all the marinade ingredients.

I used my meat tenderizer on the loin.

I then placed the tenderloin in a resealable plastic bag and pour in the marinade.

Place in a bowl then refrigerate for 4 to 8 hours.

Start your smoking.
Next: pull the loin out of the frig and place on a cutting board.

Small pockets are cut in the loin and filled with garlic and butter.

Coat your rack with a Non-stick spray and place the loin in the center.

When the smoker reaches 250f...

...place the tenderloin in the smoker and place on second rest from top. Once I reached the first hour I mopped the loin with Apple Juice and then again ever 30 minutes or until the IT reaches 145F.

Cook until the internal temperature of the tenderloin reaches 155F. It is currently reading 151F so I will start my grill and once it reaches 350F try to maintain that temp.

The loin center has reached 155F and I will now pull and...

...place on my grill. Then drizzle the meat with the Apple Butter Sauce and cook for additional 5-10 minutes.

Remove the tenderloin from the grill and let rest for 10 minutes on a cutting board.

There is a BBQ joint in Huntington, WV that uses a Apple Butter BBQ Sauce on their ribs and it's damn good.

I've done a Apple Bourbon Barbecue Sauce before on my ribs and it's pretty tasty.

Apple Butter and Pork Loin, Chops, etc... are made for each other.  Used the last of our Apple Butter last night on some super thick pork chops last night.  Yummy.

Nice job and good looking pic's.  My Mom made and canned her own apple butter.  She would often serve this with pan fried pork chops and hot bisquit.  It was delicious.  This brings back fond memories, thanks.

The title alone sounds delicious but the PICS put it over the top!

I bookmarked this one SS!

Wow I have 2 jars of my moms homemade apple butter. I never thought to use it on pork. I usually like to use plum chutney but the butter will go real nice. Thanks for the inspiration.
