Let's eat!
Apple Butter was my fav growing up.
Might be a nice touch on Pork.
Looks mighty nice.
well done SS. always enjoy your pics!
have you used this apple butter sauce on ribs before, I was travelling and had hickory smoked ribs with an apple butter bbq sauce and thought it was great looking for something similar
There is a BBQ joint in Huntington, WV that uses a Apple Butter BBQ Sauce on their ribs and it's damn good.
I've done a Apple Bourbon Barbecue Sauce before on my ribs and it's pretty tasty.
Apple Butter and Pork Loin, Chops, etc... are made for each other. Used the last of our Apple Butter last night on some super thick pork chops last night. Yummy.
Note to self: Buy Apple Butter to play with. ;D
agree with CRG, need to get some more apple butter and start making bbq sauce again! Looking wonderful!
Nice job and good looking pic's. My Mom made and canned her own apple butter. She would often serve this with pan fried pork chops and hot bisquit. It was delicious. This brings back fond memories, thanks.
Wow I have 2 jars of my moms homemade apple butter. I never thought to use it on pork. I usually like to use plum chutney but the butter will go real nice. Thanks for the inspiration.
Bought two LARGE jars of Apple Butter at store yesterday.
Sure is gonna be fun playing with it.
Excellent Job! I love apple butter as well. I definitely need to try this one!
