Title: Sausage Hangers
Post by: NePaSmoKer on August 21, 2010, 10:12:27 AM
I had a couple PM's on what kind of poles or hangers i use when i do sticks and sausage. I use Stainless Steel bell shaps smoke sticks. I got the stick from butcher & packer came is a 42" length and i cut mine to 15" to allow for expanding. Each stick will hold 5 lbs of chubs and you might use both when you make sticks. As with all your smoker items clean these with hot soapy water.

I use wood dowels.
Only thing with them is that they take on the smoke and turn brown.  :P

I use wooden dowels also, but cut a notch on either end so they will not roll.
