Title: Question about PID cable and sensor
Post by: RAF128 on August 26, 2010, 11:33:00 AM
This morning I was having a look at my smoker and noticed the door was sticking.   Decided I'd better clean the seals.   While looking inside noticed that the sensor cable and sensor for my PID are thicker than normal.   Build up of smoke and stuff from previous smokes.    Just wonder if I should be cleaning it and if so how and with what?    I know I shouldn't be imersing in water.

Wally world sells some wipes I use on mine called Germ X Anti-baterial wipes.

Think they are $1.60 for like 60 wipes.

I used denatural alchol for a while and that works good too.

Both evaporate quick.
