Title: Sirloin on the Grill
Post by: ArnieM on August 28, 2010, 04:55:00 PM
Not much of a post but I couldn't help myself; a success story.

Went to the butcher this Saturday afternoon looking for dinner.  He cleans out the case on Saturday evening and reopens on Monday.

The sirloin looked good (Angus) so I got one of those; two pounds.  He asked me to try his heavily smoked and wrinkled Jals.  Sure, I'll take one.  Naw, have a bunch.

Now it's checkout time.  I asked how much.  He said two bucks.  I said excuse me?  He said two bucks.  I almost tore my pants pocked off getting to my wallet.

Here's the steak with some of Pachanga's brisket rub.

Did it on the grill along with a baked potato and zucchini.  The dinner plate.

Good eats for two people!

Think I would be a regular on Saturday afternoon!

Great meal for under $5 for two. Plus sausage for later!
