Title: BDS 4 Rack Smoker Temp Control
Post by: SmokeyDrew on August 28, 2010, 11:12:49 PM
Hello All,

I am trying to work through a possible issue with my smoker.  My Temp control is not working on my BDS.  I hear the beeps when I press the up and down arrows, but it only shows zero no matter what.  I am thinking that maybe the first 2 lights are not working.

My question is this.  I know that the MAX temp setting is 280 F.  What is the minimum and what are the increments that the oven temp goes up and down?  Is it by 10, 20, 50, etc?  If someone could let me know, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Drew

I don't have the digital, but may be able to help your with your problem. You may have a loose connection inside your generator or your outside connections are not secure. Opening the generator will not void your warranty. Look in the Digital Model section; and start with disconnecting and reconnecting the outside wires.

Temps go up 10 degrees with each press of the button.

When I first power up the box, it sets itself to 280F. I can increase that to 320F.
