Title: Goin Shoppin - Yard & Pool Suggestions
Post by: LumpyDVC on August 29, 2010, 10:19:44 AM
Hey All,

I'm looking to place an order with Yard and Pool. As I'm in Canada I want to
make the order worth my while.

So far I have Bear Paws and 10 Frog Mats. Is the ET-73 the thermometer of
choice?

Any rubs/sauces I should give a try?

Help me spend my money! ;-)

You may have to call him to get it in the order but his sauce is pretty good.

If you want to dual element your Bradley, he carries those parts.

Also if you don't have one, a back up thermo fuse is a good thing to have.

They carry Bad Byron's Butt Rub if you haven't tried it.   It's pretty good stuff.

I have a BDS 6R... I see I'll need a PID once the upgrade is complete. That's on the Christmas list.

Here are links to the additional heating element modifications. The parts needed are listed at the top of the instructions:

Additional Heating Element DBS (http://www.susanminor.org/forums/showthread.php?572-Additional-Heating-Element-Modification)

Additional Heating Element for OBS with On/Off Control (http://www.susanminor.org/forums/showthread.php?578-Additional-Heating-Element-for-OBS-with-On-Off-Control)

The only source I have for the high temperature wire is Allied Kenco, which is located in the U.S.A. You may want to try an appliance repair shop.

I have a trip planned to Allied Kenco on Wensday.

Let me know if you need wire and connectors.
