Title: I got baked tonight....

I decided to bake my first cake tonight for my wife's birthday.  It turned out really good and I scored major points with wifey...   ;D ;D ;D
I made a double chocolate cake with cream cheese icing in the center.  The first cake I baked tonight stuck to the pan and broke apart  ??? because i didnt use enought oil and flour.  Thank goodness for Publix's (supermarket) buy one get one so I had and box of cake mix.  Here are the pics.

Snelly looks like you did the cake right.

Thanks for posting a pic of your wife cause when I counted the candles on the cake there was only 12.

12 candles???  Liar Liar Cake's on fire!!!  LOL.  I remember when we went to New Jersey for my uncle's 50th birthday.  my aunt decided to put 50 candles on the 9 inch round cake.  It set off both smoke detectors in the house.  We still kid him about his "Two Alarm" cake!

Dang Snelly you should see what my first cake turned out like. Mud slide in August.  :D You done good kiddo!!! Hope you both had a great time.

Thanks for all the compliments guys!  Not sure how much baking I will do in the future.... maybe 1 or 2 times a year.  I would rather spend my time on a butt or a brisket.......
