Got an 11pound butt and injected it with BBQ sauce mixture and then on the outside with BBQ Mustard Mixture with a rub and ir turned out great. Took 22 hours and FTC'd it for a couple hours and thought it be enough to last a while, till the kids got ahold of it and it was gone. Oh well. Thanks for the help on here for advise.
thats why I always make 2. You can always pull it and freeze it. I will usually heat it up in a slow cooker. Tastes great.
Sounds good PS. I have a bag of it in the freezer. Many say it's better after "resting" in the fridge or freezer for a while. Like Gus said, do two. Same amount of smoke.
Way to go Phantom. Sounds like you did well and you learned Rule #1. Never smoke just one butt as the first one coimng out of the smoker is an instant goner. :D
