Kummok will not be able to contain himself when he hears this one. There was a news story on Good Morning America about Aquaadvantage Salmon. Something about they take Atlantic Salmon eggs inject with Pacific Salmon genes and Ocean Pout (Sp) genes. All this DNA altering makes the fish grow extremely fast. At 18 mos the genetically ALTERED salmon is 3x the size of a normal Atlantic Salmon. The kicker in the whole deal is if approved for human consumption the stores wouldn't even have to tell you it is genetically altered.

In the fresh water lake here close to me, they have white bass. Below the damn they have stripe bass.
Every year they shock the water below the damn and milk the eggs from the stripers and cross them with
the male white bass. They have created what is called Hybrid Bass. They grow much larger than the white
bass but are smaller than the stripe bass. From what I understand, they do not reproduce and the practice
is an on going event to supply the lake with the sport fish.
Wow. What are they going to call it?
