I'm new to this, and was just wondering how well you should clean out the inside of your smoker? Ive been told to just wipe out the grease and oil drippings and leave the smokey residue. Then was told to to clean it all out smoke residue and all. What have some of you found to be the best to do? Any help would be wounderfull>

Clean the racks and the V-tray.

Every 5 smokes or so clean the vent.

Leave the smoke residue unless it starts to flake off. If it does start to flake, take a loose ball of foil and lightly brush the inside.

Hi camoghost;
Welcome to the forum.

Also wipe down the door seal. I use Isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) that is 90% in volume, but 70% also works well. Denatured alcohol also works well.
