I was making 13lbs of jerky nuggets, I had the cure in and was wondering about what flavor to make...

and had a baggie of leftover rub from the last set of pork butts.

I thought, what the heck. In it goes.

Any liquids too or just dry?

I always do a dry cure and spices.
