Didn't smoke anything this weekend, so i thought I would make some bread using CRGs starter.
Dough divided up and getting ready to go into the oven.

All done. The missing one in the middle was used for quality control purposes.

Came out great. Thanks again Sonny for the starter (3rd time's a charm)
I had thought about doing the rolls in a muffin pan. now I will.
Those look great. DIL came over today and she went home with
a starter and we made some bread also. SURE is good!
Bread looks great!
How would this compare to your standard yeast bread?

It is not a sour dough bread, it is a sweet yeast bread.
The bread starter is somewhere around 160 years old.
160 years old, that's outstanding. :o
Too bad I'm so far away I'd love to give it a try.
Punch, read this post. It is all about the Bread.

I have sent some starter to Mikeradio (he is from Canada)
and he will help get some to you if you want it.
Let me know.
That sounds great, I would love to get some. How should we proceed?
Sorry Gus I'm kind of highjacking the thread here.
punch, sent you a PM.
Sorry Gus.
I just showed my bread, where the thread goes after that doesn't bother me. It got a good discussion on bread going so I am fine. So don't worry about it.
