Title: Vegas BBQ Joints
Post by: oakville smoker on October 06, 2010, 04:23:41 AM
Hi all

Just curious if anyone knows of any decent BBQ joints in Vegas
I am heading down to a conference for a couple of days and thought WOW  maybe there are some good eats there

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated

Last couple of times I was out in Vegas I tried several BBQ joints - Lucille's Smokehouse, Sassy Sal's but I thought the two best came down to T.C.'s Rib Crib and Buzz BBQ. There were a few others that I tried but I don't think their even worth bring up.

Its not Q but...

Lawry's the prime rib.

and for a $$$$ meal - The Rosewood Grille - The biggest lobsters I've ever seen - claws as big as your head.

If you've never had Brazillian - Rodizio - there is a place in the Mirage called the Samba room. There is also one @ Mandalay bay, but we thought the Samba room was better

Ditto on Lawry's.

We usually hit the seafood buffet at the Flamingo.

Thanks all

It sounds like the vote of confidence is going to Lawry's.
I will be checking it out.  I have one night to go and eat and this will probably be my choice
I have an invite to The Palms at Ceasars the next night
A cigar thing Fuente, another one at The Hotel by Mandalay
Lots of opportunities

And I will have to scoot by Margaritaville on the strip and have a Landshark in honor of Jimmy   LOL

I am not a big gambler but will probably take 50 or a 100 bucks that I am prepared to lose and see how far that goes
