Title: Reversable doors?
Post by: Captrick on October 10, 2010, 10:30:37 AM
Has any one tried or been able to reverse the door swing on the DB4?
I built a stand and would like to have the door swing towards the smoke generator.
Before I start taking the door apart I thought I would see if any one has already done so.

Thanks

Hi cap and welcome to the forum. I have not heard of anyone reverse hinging the door. I think you will be the first for that experiment.

Hi Captrick;
Welcome to the forum.

Since the top hing is a permanent part of the cabinet, if you reverse the door you would probably have to use butt hinges or something similar on the left side, and remove the bottom hinge pin. Though he didn't reverse the door, starship fixed his smoker door using butt hinges.
