Just wondering if anyone has a creative idea or picture of a shelter that can be made or purchased for my Bradley smoker. I understand some people vent their smokers outside but I'm afraid that may be complicated/expensive. Just wondering how people utilize there smokers during the winter season in the midwest?? Thanks!!
here is mine

Wow...very nice!! Couple questions: Do you live in the midwest? If so do you have any problems during the winter?
Rudy, check out this (http://forum.bradleysmoker.com/index.php?topic=18295.0) thread for some other ideas... I went with the 'buy vs build' route (I'm a much better buyer than a builder ;)), other guys keep them in their garages and vent the smoke outside.
I live in Central IL and have run it in the dead of winter.

No, I live in northern Alabama

Lot of rain, occasional snow. Temps can go down to the high 20's . The main concern with the Bradley is not so much as the cold, but the rain and wind. Wind can keep the temps low.
You will probably hear from some of our Canadian brothers/sisters that smoke in much colder temps then what I see.
Anybody I know that smokes up here have some kind of storage shed. I have a 8x10 insulated garden shed that I use and it stays cozy in it as I smoke. No problems with the temp. I have seen some pretty elaborate shops set up but I only do a small amt each year. But I was lucky this year I have about 500 lbs of moose meat to make sausage, jerky, pepperoni and whatever. Its going to be an interesting winter. Thks Piker
