Post by: SnellySmokesEm on October 15, 2010, 08:34:05 AM
I had to try out the breading that Squirt send me last night so I thawed out some boneless pork chops.  I really like this breading.  I have found so much new recipes, sauces, rubs, breading from this forum!  Everyone on here is the best.  Thanks again Squirt!

The Mies breading was great.  I think its "the breading" I have been searching for.  I didnt add any spices to it.  I just left it alone and it was great.

Snelly wait until you try it on the grill without oil!! Just take the meat dip in water then in the breading and onto the grill.

So you dont have to fry it?   My wife is going to love that!

Nope no frying involved in the way that ronbeaux and others have used it. With Great results I might add.

I believe you've turned me into a Mies convert before I even receive my 5 lb bag.  Nice job on the chops.  I can't help but notice that you often have 'Garlic Butter Rice' as a side.  For some reason it just grabs my attention cause it looks so inviting.  Care to shed some light on 'Garlic Butter Rice'?

Thanks for the info Snelly.  I'll see if they carry those Knorr products out here on the left coast.  I'll make it up to ya next time I swing through Florida.  Course the last time I was in Florida was in 1971-72 when I spent 18 months going to the Navy Sonar Technician School in Key West   ;D ;D

If the Mies is half as good as everyone says then I know I'll enjoy it!!  Can't wait to try some of the recipes on the forum and give new life to some of my old recipes.

Just an FYI Pete.  I did a couple of bone-in chops on the grill the other day using the Mies.  They had a CT soak for about an hour and then the Mies coating.  They came out good.  I don't think the CT is required but what the hey.
