Title: Lagniappe and some info.
Post by: Tenpoint5 on October 25, 2010, 09:30:36 AM
I went to get the mail this morning and found a nice little care package from our friends Marv and Patti at Rodaks Coffee and Grills. Thank-you Marv and Patti I have some brewing right now.

For those of you that have tried the Mies breading. Marv has informed me that there is a new addition to the Mies family. Here is what he said:

Mies has another product in the 8 oz bag. It Is One Step All Purpose with Added Browning. Same great taste as regular, but with better browning at lower temperatures and shorter cooks. These were very crispy and flavorful wings. Wings cooked at 300* for 50 minutes. The Mies added browning is great for those more delicate cooks when you want perfect fried stuff on the grill or oven. This is the one for grill fried tater wedges, veggies, pork chops, fish and more. This works great!!

Those wings looks awesome.  Looks like they just came out of a frying pan.

Randy just for you I did the finger test on them. Lets just say I am looking forward to my next day off from work so I can cook a steak and put some of it on them. (I never put any sauce on my steaks!!) These are good. Thinking of splashing some of the Chipotle mustard on some wings might just take them over the top. There is just enough Love on the backside to make you want more!

That's quite the feast Point!!  Great looking wings ...  Been reading about Mies and for sure I need to find me an outlet and try some.  All I could find on their website were large quantities.

He ships in the USPS flat rate boxes, so it is $10.40 for the big box...  (that's what the 5 lb Mies comes in)
