Im going to Lake Michigan next week on a Salmon fishing trip. Any advice, tips, secrets and/or recipes would be appreciated. Ive had great sucess with the Bradley so far. This will be my first try at salmon. Im figuring some of you guys from up yonder may have some ideas. Thank you.

Kummok's hot-smoked salmon and Spyguy's cold-smoked salmon are my favorites, and I have made both many times.
ditto to what bsolomon said re the 2 recipes. Kummoks kippered salmon is truly a great recipe--especially while eating them on your porch with single malt or cold beer. I'm going out fishing here in BC next week to try and get enough for a smoke.

Pick yourself up a couple of Oslo lures, you'll out-catch everyone in the boat.[;)]

Ya think next time I check into a hotel & they ask "Smoking or Non?" they would mind?

I have made salmon with Kummoks recipe a couple of times. When people sample it their reply is allways the same," The best that I have had!"
