Good things come to those that wait... LOL Can't wait... I just ordered a maverick ET-7 Dual Probe wireless therm... I'll wait for that to arrive before I attempt a Boston Butt.
Thank you...
Looks good, GE!
When you do the butt (and for other cuts as well), you might consider investing in an instant read thermometer too. It's always nice to have a double check on your probes; they just come in handy. The Thermapen is the best, but it's pricey; same company makes a good one (that's just not as "instant"--takes about 5 seconds) for about $20. I thing CRG (that smokin' monkey that posted above) is getting up a group buy on them if you're interested. Also, just google "Thermoworks".
Those ribs look killer ;) :D Nice job!
Awesome Pics Gatorz.
Welcome.
Good to see some more folks from San Diego joining in.
I agree .... Awesome Pics.
Waht was the rub you used?
Congratulations on your purchase and welcome to the forum...Enjoy!

Welcome! I was going to suggest getting a tool shed like your neighbor's to keep your OBS high & dry and out of the wind/cold - but I see you live in a place with almost perfect weather. ;)
I'm with Hal on the extra instant-read thermometer. Well worth the 20-something bucks.
