Title: First Ribs- Bone up or down?
Post by: babyhewi on October 31, 2010, 06:36:43 AM
Sounds like a silly question but I'm a bit confused.  So which is it?  I'm leaning toward curve (bone) bone down unless I hear otherwise in the next 30 min.  (9:35 EST) and the smoker is just about ready.  I'm also going naked!! Well the ribs are, not me.  Wish me luck and pics will follow!!

Thanks all! Yes I did bone down but had a last minute scare by reading something (not here) that advised otherwise.  Silly girl - I strayed away from the grail.  It won't happen again.  And yes I removed membrane and trimmed them to st loui myself.  Fun with knives!!
