I have been hitting the road alot lately, staying with my Mom during the week while
she is going thru physical therapy to gain some strength back.
Mom is eating like a Horse and the therapy is working great. Things are looking good.
We go somewhere every day, it just takes us longer to get there. ;D
She actually flew to Charleston, S.C. for my nieces Wedding.
I have to go to the Deer Camp, so all that worked out good.
During the trips to her house, the store I shop at (most of the time) has had a sell
on Butts for what seems like a month. I'll stop and buy some coming and going from
my Mom's. I finally took the time to count the ones in my Mom's freezer.

25 Butts! and I have 12 in my Freezer. Either a $1 a lb or .97 lb.
I guess I have invested in Pork Futures. I think I have enough for a while. ;D
Pile some in your La Caja China!
(seriously, do you think that would work?)
They avg about 9 lbs apiece. Am cooking for some people's Party on the 20th.
Suppose to be 150 people attend.
Don'tknow what I said yes. Gonna cut into my hunting time.

The sad part is I can't wait to see the pictures when you start cooking those. Worse- I know I am not alone out there ;D ;D ;D
That might be all his smokers going at once.
Would love to see that La Caja filled with butts going to town!
Now that is a pile of sausage laying there. about 225lbs at a 70/30 ratio you need about 600 lbs of deer meat. You better go hunting!!
I know something will show up soon that will cook 16 of these at a time.
Congressman Sonny and his Pork Barrel projects...
Dang that's a lot of butts.
You'll put Sam's out of business.
Have fun CRG
Sounds like this could be the first step on the road to recovery ...
1. We admit we were powerless over pork-that our life has become unmanageable.
This from a man who still has 12 deer in his freezer from last season. It's that time of year .. deer season ... do you hear it? The woods are calling ... come back, come back, come back to the woods ....
Get help before it's too late (another smoker would be a good start). ;)
I don't have 12 Deer Left, but I do have enough to make a bunch of sausage.
CRG - where did you get those?
Hmmm... is CRG gonna be on that show hoarders? That would be an interesting twist...

HEB is about to start expanding into the Dallas area. Can't wait.
You will enjoy shopping there.
The "BIG" HEB's in Houston are just awesome.
They have just about run Brookshire Bros here in town out of business.
They will be doing the super stores here as well.
Dang Sonny whats the plan here?
Smoking on what and how long is this going to take you?
