Hello to all of you. I love to BBQ and make sausage and jerky. Hey, who don't on this site. lol I love how this site offers help to fix a problem with their smoker. Everyone seems great. Don't get me wrong. I love to BBQ the old fashion way, on the pit, but it's hard to smoke your own hams that you cure or some thing like that on a pit. You have to keep it low. I also like the idea of smoking some butt or brisket for a while and you don't have to baby sit the fire box all the time. Plus I'm 31, in school and don't have the time like I used to, and a Bradley system would be a great addition to the family. lol So in all I hope y'all take me under your wing's(No pun intended"BBQ") and help me when you can, and hopefully I'll be able to help along the way also. Thank You!

Welcome RBD! Pull up a chair, put your feet up and hang out with us for a while. There are folks on here who don't own a Bradley or own a Bradley and many other different types of smokers so you're more than welcome here. One word of caution...beware of "The Smoking Monkey". ;) Nah, he's a great guy.

Welcome Aboard Dave
Welcome aboard Dave, but beware! This place has some kind of mystical power that entices you in until you have no choice but to want to smoke something every weekend. I speak from expereince as I now find myself preoccupied throughout the week trying to figure out what I will smoke this weekend. My freezer is stuffed and the neighbors hide as though I am trying to unload this years bumper-crop of zuchinni.
All kidding aside, this has got to be the most accomodating and helpful bunch of people you will ever run into.
Enjoy!

Your doing it wrong than SoCal!! My neighbors just show up in the garage with beer when they smell the smoke drifting out of there. Especially in the fall during sausage making season.
Maybe I should change into a clean shirt and leave the cleaver at home when I make deliveries? ;D
