We had company so I dragged a bag of pulled pork out of the freezer. I think it gets better in there.
I put it the crock pot for a few hours with some Q sauce to warm up.
The buns (hardly visible) were from Arthur Ave. in NYC - some of the best bread around. Some cole slaw and baked beans.
I have to apologize. The jalapeno cornbread was still in the oven and didn't make it to the plate shot. It was WAY too much to eat. Anyway -

Way to much to eat? No such thing, just think lunch for work !
Looks realy good from here.l
Slaw on pulled pork, I love it!
Arnie, how do you do yours? Creamy or vinegar?
Tommy - I had about 5 or 6 pounds of pulled pork in the cooker. So, yeah, there's plenty left over for a couple of days. In scrambled eggs, on rolls, whatever.
Squirt - I'd suppose the slaw was creamy - Mayo, sour cream, milk, apple cider vinegar, sugar, S&P and some celery salt. I sometimes do it in oil and vinegar for my daughter who is lactose intolerant.
Any way, this is what was left of the jalapeno cornbread - the missing photo. Darned good stuff.

Oh man I am digging out the corn meal. I will have to drop the jalapeno's but I have been craving corn meal muffins for a while.
Hi cousin Q. I used one pickled Jal, rinsed, seeded and minced. It's not hot at all but has a nice flavor from the pepper.
How's the truck doing?
Well I wish I was still in the quarry. Just to fricken many hours to make the same money. Actually I wish I had never gone to the quarry, cause if you don't know then you don't miss. Sorry to rant, I am in a pissy mood. Just burnt 4 racks of ribs when my BBQ flared up.
Just calm down Q. Strip the meat off of the ribs, chop it up and make it with scrambled eggs in the morning and maybe some nice toast.
We all have some bad days.
Just remember, NO BAD COOKS! I have had rib adventures that have not done well due to my mistakes. They get vac sealed and frozen for some of the best pea soup or chili that you have ever had. I have never done a cook in the Bradley that hit the garbage can,
You tell him SS. I think Q is kinda depressed.
Think Q had a "Dark and Gloomy" day.
I with SS, nothing goes in the can.
It gets re-cycled.
A few were edible so the wife and kids got them. The rest were way to far gone. Wouldn't have been bad if the rib side was down but it was the meat side that got it.
Just think of it this way ..........
Burnt ends off a brisket are really not good eats until they go into a pot of beans, etc.
Yeah, Sonny has it! Pot of beans, fine chop your mistake and throw it in a crockpot with a mix of white, blackeye, and black beans! Add a ton of onion and garlic and a couple of bay leafs and a scoop of your fav BBQ sauce, let it bubble about 6 hours on low, serve with cornbread and be a hero!!!
