Title: Mies Chicken Thighs in the SRG
Post by: SnellySmokesEm on November 18, 2010, 05:35:26 PM
I made some thighs today with the mies breading in the SRG. I double coated the chicken which gave it an extra crunch.  We had potato cakes and stuffing for sides.

Nice!   I made some chicken strips tonight with the Mies breading.   Now I followed the directions on the back for extra crispy chicken but instead of water or milk I used beer!  Yep had to steal some from Kimmie but I got enough to try it and man it was great!

I wanted to fry the pieces but 10.5 talked me out of it, next time I think I will try frying them to see how they turn out.  That is some of the best breading  I have had in a long long time.

Snelly, dang fine cook.    You are really taking to the SRG aren't ya'   ;)

The chicken looks good Snelly and I like the beer idea Tommy.

I haven't done any Mies in TBE yet.  I ordered two sets of half racks from Char-broil.  They seem a little slow but high priced on shipping.  They were ordered on the 12th and should be here by the weekend.

I have some wings defrosting.
