I was all set to enjoy a turkey dinner on Thanksgiving. Unfortunately my BIL was not too familiar with how to operate his BE. So, long story short, I did not get to feast on turkey on Turkey Day.
SO, I went ahead and made some jerky from turkey strips.

They were pretty good, and did not taste like turkey at all. In fact, they reminded me of ham.

Hal, He has two smokers - one propane and one electric, as well as an outdoor kitchen.
He still does not know what the he * * he's doing!
P.S. Do you want her? They have 13 kids between the two of them - and only TWO of them are her's! What a CRAZY life - no wonder he does not know how to cook!

Put some Soileau's on the next batch! (if you have any left ;))
Squirt, I did think about putting Soileau's on the jerky.
However, I have been making the Mrs popcorn with this seasoning and cheddar cheese powder.
Needless to say, I am getting low on Soileau's!
