I use one like this in my bbq comps only mine has the white plastic handle. It's a one pull no pressure slicer that will shave a tomato.

Don't you hate it when tomatoes grow those scraggly little beards and mustaches?

I have heard raves about this product line. I have not tried any of these items yet as my full knife set is still fit for use.

Well after USPS misplaced my shipment it finally arrived.

I call Cutlery and More on Tuesday and informed the customer service rep that I thought there might be a problem. He offered to reship the item back out to me and NO COST and would trust me to send the original back to them in case I did receive it. I told him that I wasn't really in a big hurry and if he wanted to contact USPS first and see if it could be located and if then we could reship the items.

Well it arrived!

I'm already putting the cheese slicer to good use!!

You are going to love that knife.  It will go through a pastrami brisket in nothing flat.  I love mine.  Going to see how well it does on a smoked pork belly soon.

Larry, do you think I could use this knife to slice some lean beef to make jerky??

I made a Jerky cutting board yesterday at work before heading home.

That knife works great on all kinds of meat. It does a real good job on salmon when making lox. I make big slab jerky and it cuts the roast nice and thin for the big "Sheets of Jerky" as my buddies kids call it.

Open it, take the knife out, rewrap the box and stick the empty box under the tree - no one will know the difference. ;D
