This summer I rode my Harley through two provinces and ten western states, I stopped at most BQ joints I could. Wanted to try all different types and just check out ideas. Got home from my bike trip and went hunting with my kid and a couple of buddies. This is what my kid shot. Just shy of 900 lbs on the hook at the butcher. Freezer is now full with Buffalo(Bison) Moose and Whitetail. I am gonna love my new Bradley and all the friends I am meeting on this site.(http://i1179.photobucket.com/albums/x388/micman2/IMG_2855.jpg)

Well GOOOLLLLY, that is one heck of a big arse cow!
I showd my son (15) the picture and he said "Wow!! How many times did he have to shoot it?...Eight!" :D :D
That is a big un
WOW!!
There must be a story behind that buffalo. Let us in on it. Oh, and what's the muzzleloader you're shooting?
Thinking its not a Smokepole looks like maybe a 300 Mag or 7mm with Bi-pod legs
You kidding, I'd recognize that gun anywhere - it's a Daisy. ;D
Impressive
900 lbs of buffalo = 400 lbs of jerky baby !!! ;D
Well I keep trying to reply to the questions but alas computers kill me. Well as for how many shots just one, right behind the left ear and down a little. one bullet one kill. As for the gun no its not a smoke pole. Would have been nice if it was for nostalgia reasons. Since the hunt we have now acquired a 58 cal. black powder muzzle loader rifle and a Pedersoli Sharps 45-70 replica. As for the gun Kevin you are not to far off. It is a 30-06 with a 180 grain bullet, gun was a little to small for an animal that large so the kid had to stock really close to get a clean shot. A buddy backed him up with 338 win mag just in case but wasn't needed. I filmed the whole thing was pretty cool to watch after words on a big screen.
Mickey ;D ;D
the bi-pod fooled me. Looked like the ram rod. Behind the ear? That would be a good shot. The 30-06 should be plenty. Works on moose. I retired mine and went to a 300 WSM. It's a little flatter shooting and hits even harder.
Raises hand.......If you filmed it do you think you could load it to youtube? I would love to see that hunt. Congrats to you and your son on the hunt. It is something that he will NEVER forget. Got to love moments like these.
Very nice. Thats allot of SS, Sticks and jerky.
Wouldnt you like to have an original Sharps rolling block 45-70?
One these days i will post some pics of a couple of my shooters ;D
Nice take! But I think your gonna needs a bigger Bradley then the one you have! ;)
mesa thinks yousa needs a buffalo smoker
