Title: Crockpot Brisket
Post by: thirtydaZe on December 20, 2010, 10:36:09 AM
I had about 5lbs of brisket in my freezer, and an unplanned urge for some comfort food.

It being mid morning, there wouldn't be enough time to smoke the thing, so we put it in the crock pot with red potatoes, carrots, a white onion, and 12oz of Leinenkugels Fireside Nut Brown Ale.  A fair dose of Cookies season all, and some crushed red pepper.

Saturday night we had this:

Wife made gravy out of the beer, drippings, and some lipton soup mix.

Went well with the other 11 Nut Brown Ales.....

Oh, and yes, i do love Ketchup!
