Title: First smoke of the year in progress

Got three slabs in the smoker for tonights dinner  ;D Just three more hours to go  ;)
Rolled two hours of oak on em..ran out of hickory  :(

The ribs look great there Chili Head!

It should be getting close to time to pull those babies and enjoying the next football game!  ;D

Oh man.. ;D

The sauce was also complements of Buylowsellhigh from the xmas exchange  ;) ;D  I used sticky fingers sauce on one slab, The third slab just had rub on it and got vacuum packed for a later day  ;D

I haven't smoked anything since thanksgiving because I've been working a lot through the holidays..Ive been missing out!!

What did you think of the Oak compared to Hickory?

It was good! The ribs just had a slight smoke flavor and wasnt bitter at all. Only rolling two hours of smoke kept things mild but I think my favorite is hickory  ;D

The rub was fantastic  ;D The sauce was good too..kinda twangy  :D The wife loved it! She said this batch of ribs was the best so far..not fall off the bone but just right..I have to agree with her  :D
