I made a 25 lb batch of brats Friday.
Here's they are after I stuffed them w/ my motor-powered Cabelas 11 lb stuffer.
Used Beer Brat mix from http://www.friscospices.com/ (http://www.friscospices.com/), my go-to source for casings and spice mixes.
Then they were twisted into links and vacuum packed.

Gotta love the motorized stuffers............that will be my next toy
I agree, the motor is great.
My next toy is some stainless stuffer tubes.
If you can not make your own..............Scott's Place sells some good quality tubes
Ths Sausage looks great!
Love that motor, I got the same set up.
Frisco is just down the street, I get allot of stuff there.
OU,
I lived in Bellevue several years ago (stationed at Offutt) and a friend told me about Friscos. Now I mail order since I live in east SD.
And the Bullet Hole is almost next door. Threw quite a bit of lead down range at that place.
Its a great part of town--smoker stuff and a gun range almost next door to each other. Can it get much better?
Lumpy, I've seen the Scott's Place tubes, and thats what I want. Just need to get around to it. Thanks.
get smokin
Drano
