Title: Teaching the next generation
Post by: TMB on January 16, 2011, 01:13:01 PM
My helper at work was looking at some of the things I have cooked and fell head over heels on the Mexican fatty I made. He said I want one of those but I don't know how to do that nor do I have a grill.  Well I said I'll teach you how to make one and cook it in the oven for your first try then go buy a grill and I'll show you how to smoke one.

His name is John and he just hit the age of 21, good kid and a very good auto tech just a little rough around the edges.  Here are the pictures he sent me from his first fatty (Yes I told him he had to take pictures!)  ;)

Note the pie pan plate, you can tell he is a bachelor

Tommy isn't that a little bit like a drug dealer giving the soon to be addict a free sample or two? Of course if he is going to get hooked it is better to do it when you are single so you don't have to explain the boxes that keep showing up  ::)
