Title: Element died :/
Post by: Fernslinger on January 17, 2011, 10:01:21 AM
An hour into smoking 3 racks of ribs yesterday the heating element stopped working. I have 4-rack DBS and that was only the 4th time using it. Ended up finishing the ribs on my Weber so at least we still got to eat ribs :) Gonna call and get one sent out under warranty...this sucks :(

Mine went out shortly after initial use; however, the replacement has been going almost a year with some heavy use and no issues.
