I just wanted to pop in and apologize to those that have PM'd me and I haven't replied right away. I haven't been around as much as normal as LIFE has has gotten rather hectic around here. I am finally back to working normal work weeks at work. Miss Vicky has been pulling extra hours to help and hasn't slowed down just yet. Add in the main reason. Miss Vicky's Dad has been courageously fighting cancer for the last 2 1/2 - 3 years. It started in his leg, then moved to his left lung, then the right lung, then his back, and most recently his brain. As you may have figured out this is a very aggressive sarcoma cancer. The tumors that he has in his brain are causing a great deal of nausea and dizziness. He has been unable to eat solid foods for a couple of weeks. So I have have been doing my best to give Miss Vicky every opportunity to spend time with her Dad and all of her siblings. Since everyone is home and gathered around Dad in support.
So if you need some help or have a question for me. Please ask I will do my best to answer. It just might not be in a timely manner.
Chris
Chris -
No need to appologize. A lot of us, I'm sure, understand the horrors of cancer and you need to concentrate on your family at this time. Let me know if there is anything I can do for you.

Ditto on everything already said. Take care of the family. Prayers are with you.
Hey Chris, my heart goes out to you and your family.
I'm going through something very similar myself. Back in January 2010 my mother called and info me that her cancer had returned. They had found that her cancer was now in her liver. After six months of aggressive treatment the doctor was able to take her off of Trexall. Mom seemed to get well over night, it was amazing.
I call her about everyday or two to see how she is doing and this pass Sunday, 16th, she informed me that she was having a hard time with her balance. Said it was like walking around drunk. I queried if they had changed any medications and she said no.
Tuesday morning, Mom was trying to get back in bed and fell to the ground. My SF called my sister that lives in the same town and they took her to her doctor, mom had a routine doctor appointment there that morning. My sister informed the doctor and he ordered a ct scan and they found that she had multiple lesions in her brain. They have ordered 5days a wk for 4-5wks for radiation & will continue her chemotherapy during this time.
They were going to release here today but she is now having a hard time breathing correctly. They begun some other test today.
Chris, take care of your family and this family can wait.

I hate having to reply to these kind of threads due to my friends and their loved ones hurting, but I guess it's something that needs to be done. Although I have avoided posting until now, I do want you to know that you (Chris, Mark, and Curt) and your families have been in my prayers since I found out about the situations you all are in.
The rest of you friends here are also being covered, just not singled out during my nightly chats with the guy upstairs.
If there's anything I can do for you, I would gladly do it...just ask.
Sorry to hear about your father-in-law. Best wishes to him, and your family.
Chris,
