Was cleaning out the fridge and found a bottle of A.1. Steak sauce so I said to my self;
"Self I wounder what this would taste like in a stick?" :D Then after a couple shots I said lets do it. ::)
Edit: hit the wrong button. ;D
So this time I took the deer outta the freezer, 8 lb course ground.

Then added 4 lb course ground pork butt.

Mixed well.

Took 1 cup distilled water, added the cure and the seasonings.
Mixed that up.

Dropped in a tub and in the fridge over night.

The next morning.
Grind with the 3/16" plate.

Added 1 cup A.1. Steak sauce.
Loaded the stuffer and shot out 2 looooooong sticks.
Cut to length and loaded on the racks ready for the smoker.
In the smoker with 4 hr Pecan.

Got a little snow the night before.
Had to cut a trail to the smokin shed.

The A.1. was a nice flavor enhancement, not over powering at all but you could taste it, will do again.

I tried to live in the city a couple times in my younger days and it about drove me crazy. ;D
I love the peace N quiet out here, the only thing I can here when sitting on the patio is the ringing in my ears and the little voices in my head tellin me I need to clean my guns. :D
Nice lookin sticks!
SIA
Curt
how about a close up of one of the cut ends. I am curious if the A-1 darkened the meat. They look good from the out side though.

Very good looking. I always like to see a cut shot. Those look lean and professional. Is the taste what you expected?
kc
I was picturing the A.1. standing out more but with 1 cup it blends in well with the other spices.
You can tell its there but its not over powering.
Curt them sure do look good ;D
