Injected with creole butter and used JB's fatboy rub last night. Smoking with apple

Thats gonna be GOOOOD!!

Dont forget to dump and refill your drip pan after the smoke is done, then check the V tray and make sure the hole is not pluged.

You should dump and check about every 5 or 6 hr.

Thanks guys. Definitely won't be done for dinner so I'm going throw these on for tonight. Those rubber bands are nice.

You will be pleased with the creole butter! used it on a few smokes.
I really gotta get me some of those silicone bands though.

Chicken was awesome. Took about 3.5 hours. Thanks for all the ideas everyone. Pork has been in for 7.5 hours and is at 143 IT. Could be an all nighter

Not my picture but I'm pretty sure they are silicone bands like I have.Got 'em at Bed Bath and Beyond.They are great,good to 400 or more degrees,I put them in the dishwasher and they come out like new.Great for the rotisserie too!

Both looked awesome, I got a pork on my to smoke list. And well anytime I see a picture of anything on this site wrapped in bacon I have to mop up the drool
