The cook time was to short for the full flavor but wasn't bad for a quickie. ;D
Looks tasty OU, did you sauce the split chicken? If yes what sauce is t that you used?

Nope.
No sauce, no brine, no injection.
I wanted to taste the rubs.
Smoked at 250 with 2 hr Apple then on a hot grill till IT was 165 F.
Turned out moist, tender and a crisp skin.

I think the flavor will be more robust with a cook that takes more than a couple hours.
Wow that is great color for no sauce. Nice job. The gunpowder spice seemed to reddin right up at the end. Looks good.
