Ths picture with the beer is really nice Squirt!
Here's what it looked like when I stuck the camera out the front door last night in the thick of things

Squirt showed a picture of his truck. So I felt obligated to show a pic of mine. It is a 4 door Colorado. I see I may have a couple of nice drifts up on the roof as well, if you look at the gutter on the garage.

I would post a picture of a beer bottle but all there would be is a hole in the snow where I dropped it. We got 12 inches of snow that they measured. Will post more when I get outside and survey the driveway.
Nice pictures guys.... I am in California so the only pictures we have of powder is in the suitcase full of cocaine that Charlie Sheen has on his coffee table :D
I think I'll just stay up here in Alaska where we don't have all that snow right now :D
You guys got hit HARD this time around. :o
Beautiful pics, but man the seaux....

I got plenty of Sunshine Pete!! I hear the rodent in Pennsylvania says its gonna be an early spring. I would rather shovel snow than cut grass any day.
Some more pictures to update.
This is how deep the snow was 3 feet out from the garage and all the way down the driveway!

My neighbor seen me shoveling so he came over with the big snow blower and helped with the bottom half. I asked him what I owed him and his reply was. "I remember getting some Summer Sausage, Snack Sticks and Smoked Cheese for Christmas, We're Good"
The rodent is lucky cuz i was going to have his family in the X hairs soon :D
Up our road.

QuoteI would rather shovel snow than cut grass any day.
I'm with you on that Chris. :)
We got about 12-14" total on the ground here, not even enough to bother taking a picture of.
I'd like to see a real storm like we used to get..... 2-3 feet. Not that I would call a storm. :)
Rick and Deb were lucky this year they got a couple good snows.
BTW, I know where Gobblers Knob is.... bout twenty miles from here. I think I can see that rodent in the smoker this summer. ;)

I'm with you too on that Chris and Pensrock. Except I would rather do neither. That's why I hire someone to mow my lawn for me until my Grandson gets old enough to do it for me ;D ;D Course, I'll pay him what I pay this guy but probably a bit more ;)

We got a total of 18 inches, I think. They are not quite sure because of all the blowing and drifting.
Neither the wife nor I worked today. Both places were closed.
She dug out the driveway when she got home last night from work, and I did it again when I got home from work later.
I did the driveway again this am too. Then we went over the my parents and did their driveway.
I had just finished their driveway, when along came a snowplow and closed the opening of their driveway. >:(
For here, this was a big snow. It is ranking in the top five storms to hit here. What a record - yuck.
My arms hurt. So do my legs, my butt, my feet, , , , , , , , I am having a few beers right now, so the pain is easing up.....;)

P.S. Nepas, the wife says the loincloth looks FABULOUS! :o
Great pics but the one of the beer in the snow almost made me cry. I love the tailpipe pic. The birds must have hung out there for awhile.

I keep watching the radar and it shows pink pink pink over my area. So I go outside and it is doing nothing nothing nothing! Schools are closed, business closed, Government offices closed. I think everybody in BR got the day off except the news people. I saw one flake earlier but it dissipated before I could focus the camera.
Granted it's kinda cold, but jeeze. This is not even a good rain storm and there is panic in the streets!
I think they got that pink colored radar from up north or something and decided it would be fun to play with it.
I got all of 4" with this storm. Granted, the bottom fell off the thermometer last night and the night before, but all is good on this side of the state of Iowa.
This beats you all. This my place in the last snow we had. ;D(http://i1011.photobucket.com/albums/af233/quarlow/snowontheroof.jpg)
Yah we [in California] had these things in the sky today...I think they call them clouds ??? Not really sure never really seen them before ;D

MyBad, you are SO BAD!!! That was just plain MEAN!
Quarlow, if that is your house, I hope that you have plenty of liquor to keep you warm.

Business shut downs, Local, county, Gov offices shut down,
schools closed, Air line flights cancelled .......................
and we got NO SNOW!
WE did get sleet/ice where I live, but no snow.
Same here and all we got was rain. ???
Damn little Pre Madonna dogs!! Can't pee in the snow. So I had to go out and shovel a spot for her.

OK so the snow is about 6 inches deeper than she is tall. I guess She does have a point.
Funny!
That is too funny. Damn half dogs. :D :D :D
Sorry I'm late on this one. Just getting out of the house.
Connecticut is the 'collapsing' state. Many roofs and buildings have collapsed under the snow load. Hartford schools were closed for almost two weeks while roofs were cleared.
Any way, here a couple of shots of a regional lumber distribution center about 4-5 miles from me. No one was injured.
