Title: Restaurant Depot
Post by: Drac on February 06, 2011, 05:35:06 PM
Good evening all,

Went to Restaurant Depot yesterday to get some wings at a recommendation.  I was tired of these tiny wings from the grocery store.

Got 5lbs of HUGGGGEEE wings for about $9.  Made for some nice buffalo wings for the game.

While I was there did a lap of the place.   Saw some chicken leg quarters on sale for $0.48/lb and whole chickens (3 lbs size) for $0.85/LB.

That and the other meats they had on sale made me wish we had a couple spare freezers since they come in the large industrial size boxes.

Wow that might be worth buying one just for the super deals.

Before you drive too far...   They aren't open the general public.  You have to have a business license (any kind of business) to apply for a membership that lets you shop there.

They are supposed to have a deal with the Kansas City BBQ Society as well..   A KCBS card will get you a day pass to the store.    There is one in St Louis that I keep meaning to check out.

Sorry about that.  Forgot to mention it.  Mea culpa.

We have it through my wife's work.

Forget it, based upon what I saw we would have to rent a semi to bring it all home ::)
