Title: Did A Prime Roast This Morning
Post by: devo on February 14, 2011, 08:45:54 AM
Well I worked last night, came home and fired up the Bradley to 220F.
Wanted to smoke a 4lbs beef roast ($4.33lbs)
So I used a little bit of this and a little bit of that to it last night before going to work.
Some Jamaican Jerk powder
Some Mrs.Dash (GARLIC & HERB
A zesty, salt-free mix of all-natural garlic, herbs & spices, including oregano, parsley & black pepper makes every meal a mouthwatering hit.)

Smoked for three hours with special blend pucks and another 1 1/2 just heat all at 220F. Internal temp was at 140F when I went out to check on it so out it came. A little higher than I wanted.

Cut it all up for some beef on a bun for the guys at work tonight. Should keep them happy for awhile.

That looks delish. What was the jerk seasoning like with the beef? I have only jerked chicken and pork.

It just took it up a notch to give it a little kick. Tasted good.
