Title: GB Jerky, adding liquid smoke. How much/Lb
Post by: CoreyMac on February 16, 2011, 12:09:23 PM
I haven't got the smoker going yet but I'm getting itchy to make some jerky again. Decided to do some in the dehydrator only.  I want to
add some liquid smoke to compensate. Does anybody know what a good amount per/Lb to add for a nice flavour without going overboard?

Thanks
Corey

1/2 tsp per every 5 lbs of meat. Unless you like it stronger add 1 tsp
