Title: 3/16" or 1/4" grinder plate?

Hello everyone, Just wondering what size grinder plate most people are using when doing their Snack sticks and Summer Sausage? I've been using 1/4" for everything with good results..........just wondering if the 3/16" would make much of a difference?
