I'm a 12 hour shift worker. I was on my way home at 5:00 AM this morning going down the transcanda highway when all of a sudden a deer darted out from a driveway and slammed into the side of my truck. Well that woke me up. So I figured that sucker is going into my smoker for sure. Stopped the truck and walked over to the deer only to be surprized again when it got up, jumped the snow bank and darted off again. Guess he didnt want to be my next batch of jerky. ;D

Yeah, probably was just KO'd. Maybe next time.

I've had the same thing happen to me but I ran over it with my rear tire.

Almost hit one head on lastnight, just a little one but even the little guys leave a heck on a dent.
