We get nesting pairs across the river in DeSoto Bend State Park and I can see the adults flying over my place quite often.
Cool place when the migration is happining, thousands and thousands and thousands of geese.
The Eagles follow the geese and feed on the weak, seen it once.

Wife and I took a drive around Lake Manawa this afternoon..........and THE EAGLES HAVE LANDED
We saw a pair out on the lake near some open water, they're coming
Last year we saw around 60 or so

There was an adult feeding on a road kill deer tonight, wish I had my camera.
Cool... Was watching last night and saw 2 eggs. She was nustling them in for a warm night. It was 19degrees at the time.

The Eggs are hatching!! The little ones are busting out of their shells. Seen one egg with a hole in it and a beak sticking out this afternoon.
Thank you so much for sharing...Here is a link that my wife and I have watched for the last 3 years and this is the third year that this pair raised 3 young...as I post this it is dark out right now, but the web cam is on 24/7 and it is really neet to watch the male and female taking care of the young, the male is the smaller of the two adults...Do enjoy.
