Title: TBE Beer Can Chicken rubbed with Gunpowder
Post by: muebe on February 28, 2011, 11:10:30 AM
So I made a beer can chicken in the Big Easy. I rubbed the chicken with Gunpowder. Then I emptied the warm beer into a sauce pan. I then squeezed two whole lemons that I dropped into the beer. Then I added some rosemary, basil, thyme, and crushed bay leaves. I then brought it to a boil and removed from heat. I removed the lemon slices and then added the seasoned beer back into the can. Then dropped the chicken into TBE for about an hour to a IT of 170 ;D
