do you have a smoker  with a probe so that when you reach internal temp in the meat the smoker shuts off.....its always seemed to me that if you had that you wouldnt need any thing else???????????????

Hiya Marc & Welcome to the Forum.

With the dual probe Auber it will either shut down the

smoker when the meat reaches the IT you set or you can

program it to lower the temp and put the meat in a holding

warm mode.

Thanks for the tip on the controller, I was thinking  for sausage it would be great ,but you would still have to be there to cool of the meat fast , with ice or water,would:nt you??

It is super nice for sausage and salmon as it will ramp your temps for you,

but yep it doesn't shower you sausage ............ yet! ;D

i love that controller. except i dont think i paid much more than that for the smoker itself.
