Title: Pork Chops
Post by: wthr_dude on March 04, 2011, 07:34:35 AM
So I saw some smoked pork chops in the store the other day and of course now I have to try them.

Anybody got any tips on how to do this??

I'm thinkin I will do with them what I have done with beef steaks in the past...some dry rub and a couple hours of smoke on high heat then str8 to the grill.

Been meaning to add to this.  I smoked 1" bone in pork chops with apple/2 hrs then finished on grill.  They were delicious.  But not like what you buy in the store.  The ones in the store taste and look like ham....which leads me to believe they have been cured.
